Challenge

The client wanted a portfolio that felt premium and minimal, but her previous references were scattered, inconsistent, and not visually cohesive.

Goals

  • Showcase Farrah’s work in a clean, easy-to-navigate single page

  • Keep the design minimal but visually appealing

  • Use the client’s chosen color palette effectively

  • Ensure mobile and desktop layouts were seamless

Research

  • Reviewed client-provided references and inspirations

  • Analyzed competitor UGC portfolios for best practices

  • Identified key sections needed: Hero, Work Showcase, About, Contact

  • Determined a visual hierarchy that emphasizes Farrah’s work first

Strategy

  • keep sections minimal and organized

  • Use whitespace strategically to focus attention on UGC posts

  • Apply the client’s color palette consistently for brand alignment

  • Build responsive layouts that look professional on any screen

Next step

  • Portfolio can be updated easily with new UGC posts

  • Future features could include filtering by work type or video content

Solution

I designed a one-page portfolio that highlights Farrah’s work without distraction. The layout flows from hero → work showcase → about → contact, with clean typography and consistent color accents. Each UGC post is showcased clearly, letting the work speak for itself. Built fully on Framer, the site is fully responsive, easy to navigate, and visually cohesive with the client’s brand.
